Position Summary

The Resource Development Coordinator is responsible for the full spectrum of the onboarding plan from identifying needs and shortlisting candidates to closing successful motor carrier contractor onboarding. The Resource Development Coordinator's responsibilities include creating and publishing job/contract ads, engaging with candidates, and seeking out new candidate sources. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with recruitment and great communication skills.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with department managers to define transportation needs
  • Manage all communication with potential motor carrier partners from the moment they apply until completion of the onboarding process
  • Engage with candidates at various stages of the onboarding process (phone or video calls)
  • Engage with motor carrier candidates and review with Management
  • Responsible for document compliance for motor carriers
  • Process and review background checks of the motor carrier teams
  • Set up Carrier Resource Development calls and complete onboarding of potential motor carriers
  • Assist the company in a start-up environment from time to time
  • Manage logistics services
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Travel requirement: 10%

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

·       Work experience as a motor carrier recruiter

·       Experience & knowledge in motor carrier onboarding

·       Experience in reviewing certificates of insurance and compliance

·       Experience in screening background checks to ensure company compliance

·       Exceptional communication skills

  • Exceptional project and personnel management skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
