The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse with particular emphasis on the receiving department and its associates while achieving daily production goals. The Receiving Manager is responsible for maintaining consistent and efficient results that meet the desired quality and standard of Southwest Accessories Group. This role will ensure that all aspects of the receiving function are completed in an accurate and prompt manner by implementing, coordinating, and applying operational and personnel guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field preferred
· 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory and quality control.
· 2+ years’ supervisory experience within a distribution center, high-volume retailer, manufacturer, or production environment.
· Valid Driving License
Prior demonstrated experience managing a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced production, distribution, manufacturing, retail or similar environment
· Experience coaching and guiding employees
· Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
· Demonstrated business communication skills, verbal and written, required
· Experience with operational process and team development preferred
· Excellent computer skills and aptitude
· Self-directed, motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
· Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to dissect a problem and present a realistic solution
· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
· Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in high demand and urgent situations
· Experience supporting multi-location warehousing and distribution, helping support a performance culture
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
· Maintains a collaborative, team relationship with direct reports, peers, and colleagues in order to contribute to the group’s achievement of goals effectively and to help foster a positive work environment
· Demonstrates a willingness to accept change and new approaches, including additional responsibilities
· Strong attention to detail.
