Job Description

Position Summary

Be part of a team that manufactures and distributes quality medical devices. The staff at this 144,000 sq. ft. facility is responsible for inspecting the incoming quality of goods, picking and packing products correctly with the myriads of individual directions from our various customers to ensure that undamaged products arrive at our customer’s facilities. General Accountabilities in this Role

  • Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Trouble shoot, identify, and assist in developing solutions for issues affecting production. Interact with customers, carriers, employees and all those necessary to provide excellent customer service.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure appropriate maintenance schedules are set and implemented.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Work with the customer service team on shipping issues and paperwork.

Qualifications

Summary Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse/operations management or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proven team player, able to work collaboratively at all levels and build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be willing to work on the warehouse floor alongside the employees. Must be able to reach, bend, and lift 20 pounds.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, WMS and ERP systems.
  • Certification as a forklift driver and previous experience with various warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
